A small village church would have gone unnoticed had it not been for an amazing event. It was not so long ago, in 2003, but the church itself is much older. It was built at the expense of the Orenburg Cossack army in 1873. They were consecrated in honor of the protection of the Virgin. The villages around, like Kharlushevo itself, did not shine with wealth, so they built the temple for a long time, 10 years. But it turned out to be like a toy: white stone, directed upwards. Inside it was not very different and because of poverty, there were few utensils in it. Nevertheless, the parishioners took care of the temple. In 1911 they raised money for repairs. There was enough money to paint with oil paints.
After the revolution, the temple functioned for some time, but then it was closed and used for outbuildings. Since 1930, since the closure of the temple, the tree in the courtyard did not bear fruit, and then completely dried up.
In 2003, the church was restored. They rebuilt the domes, covered with gold. New bells have been brought in, and now they are ringing alerts to the entire district that the church is operating. This is where an interesting and mysterious event happened. The dry tree was covered with leaves. Not for long, though. The builders did not know about the unusualness of the tree and cut it down completely. Only the barrel, and dry branches in the backyard remind of a wonderful story. Sorry.
