The wooden temple was consecrated in 1912 and since then it has instilled joy and awe in everyone who comes here to pray. Artel builders from Perm applied all the techniques of Russian wooden architecture. The temple turned out beautiful. But the bell tower was particularly striking. At 29 meters high, it was visible from a distance. The bell rang all over the area.
They built Siberian Kizhi all over the world. The money was collected in the surrounding villages. Strongly pomo in the construction of the temple, the local merchant Blinov, some funds allocated by the Holy Synod — it was the first temple dedicated to Seraphim of Sarov in Siberia. The Synod considered it important to support construction.
Moreover, it was the only temple for a great distance around. Here flocked parishioners from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo volosts.
The temple operated until 1937. Then they decided to take him away. For resistance in the transfer of the temple to the state, the rector of the temple, the deacon and the headman were arrested and shot.
The room was used as a warehouse for storing grain. However, several icons and some utensils have survived. On the wave of Perestroika, the church was taken under the protection of the state, allocated money for restoration. Then came the dashing 90s, all work stopped.
Restoration was undertaken again in the 2000s. Work was completed in 2012.
The church is active and has daily services.
