The house of the Holy Trinity was called Pskov by Russian chronicles. Pskov was considered the guardian of the Russian land. Pskovici confirmed this title during the defense of Pskov in 1581. Then the Queen of Heaven came to help the defenders and the enemies had to retreat. A pilgrimage trip to Pskov gives an opportunity to visit the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, built to glorify heavenly intercession and perpetuate the defenders of the city.
