That night, for the first time in my life,

One day at Christmas, my mother offered to go to the temple near the house. Just come in, stand up. Come in. Stop. Suddenly, I see an old priest giving me a sign with his hand: Come. I decided that if you call, you need to come up, if the person needs anything. I approach and understand that the priest seems to assume that I have come to confess. I can’t even say anything. About what? And why? I didn’t think about it at all. But the priest was experienced and began to speak for me. And — I had difficulty holding back tears. Everything that my father said was totally in me. Literally every thought that bothered me. What I could not formulate for myself, the priest expressed very clearly and called things by their proper names. He guessed even what I couldn’t tell anyone. During this confession I did not say a word myself. And that night, for the first time in my life, I took communion. And then after the service we stood for a long time and talked with this father. The weight I was carrying was suddenly gone.
