Two kilometers from a small provincial town there was a holy spring. Once there was a chapel next to him, consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Barbarians and time destroyed the building, several times the spring tried to fall asleep, but the spring broke through. People came to him constantly, prayed, and collected water. Granny water spring called the Virgin water, which cures all ailments.
In the same town there was a man who denounced God and religion. He worked as a welder. Suddenly, at some point, I realized that I began to go blind, like a veil in front of my eyes. Usually, it is easier to blame others for their troubles, especially since the “guilty” lived in the next house. She was a woman of faith who was trying to convince her that there was no God. She did not argue, just with a smile said: “You are blind, Vaska, you cannot see beyond your nose.”
Soon the man was completely blind, the family broke up. Neighbors tried to help at first, but instead of gratitude, they heard dirty swearing. One day the same neighbor came to him, offered to walk to the Kazan spring. At first he refused, then reluctantly agreed. On the way, the woman said, “You are not blind with your eyes, your soul is blind.” When you wash yourself with water, you look, and the soul will see, and then your eyes will recover.
When she came to the spring, she sat him on a bench and brought him some water. People who were there at that moment wondered how they could communicate with this ghoul. The man washed once, then a second, a third, and a miracle happened. He looked around and smiled, it was incredible, he saw the world with new eyes! On the way home, he went to the temple, asked his father to listen to him. It was difficult to speak of repentance, but the conversation with God took place.
Such evidence in every town of our vast country abounds. People pray and miracles occur from the icon of the Mother of God “Kazanskaya”. It is a pity that not everyone talks about it, fearing to lose what God has given them. And to whom, like the Mother of God, to turn with a prayer for salvation, because She is the Mother of all our world and each of us.
