Optina deserts — a source of spiritual monasticism, a storehouse of piety and faith. For a century, Optina deserts served as a source of spiritual enlightenment, enlightenment and transformation.

The elders of Optina took care of everyone whom the Lord sent them.

Since 2000, the elders are revered throughout the church.They are dedicated to kondak, tropar and prayer. The icon was painted in 2006, in the Kozel icon painting workshop. It depicts the monastery, the elders and the Mother of God with Christ. Now it, together with particles of relics, is stored in the St. Alexiivsky women’s monastery, in Saratov.
