In 2020, within the framework of the international project of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma “Big History”, the Annual All-Russian patriotic action “Streets in Faces” started. The main goal that the organizing committee has set for itself is to ensure the continuity of generations of Russians by popularizing the exploits of heroes.
As part of the action on city streets, activists give information postcards to passers-by, talk about the exploits of heroes, organize patriotism classes in schools, initiate the opening of memorial plaques, organize youth quests, screenings of patriotically oriented films, brain rings, discussion platforms, patriotic concerts, quizzes, surveys, cleanup days, sports competitions, meetings with descendants of heroes, exhibitions of unique exhibits from the Great Patriotic War and excursions around the historical center of the city.
Youth organizations can take part in the action, as well as anyone with an active civic position.
Volunteers of the action can become persons over 14 years of age with an active civil position position.
Once a year, the Promotion is held on a single day for all subjects of the Russian Federation, on the eve or on the day of the national holiday «Russia Day».
