For the area «Sochiy Log» on the map marked the holy spring of John the Forerunner (Sorochy Log). This venerable spring in Sorochy Logo, located near the Ioanno-Predechensk hermitage and the village of Sorochy Log in the Altai Territory, has a deep spiritual and tragic history. The consecrated spring is located in a ravine, 130 m south of the Ioanno-Predechensk hermitage and 750 m north-west of the village Sorochi Log of the Pervomaysky district of the Altai Territory.
The spring can be found in a picturesque area on the western slope of the Bie-Chumysh hill. When preparing a trip, it is worth checking the condition of the last section of the road and the hours of free visit.

How to Get There
It's a landmark. Passage: The village is about 45 kilometers from Barnaul. Buses from Barnaul bus station go there daily. Buses departing at 9:40 and 17:50, call in the village itself: a ticket for them costs 65 rubles. You can also take buses that run every hour to get to the turn to the village.
