A young guy decided to get married, but he just couldn’t decide on his choice. He had two girls in mind: one girl was from a very wealthy family, in a word, if he married her, there would be no need; the second girl was homeless, but he liked him very much. The guy decided to consult with his mentor and told him about his indecision:
— I can’t decide which girl to marry…
And then a friend gave him advice:
— Well, since you can’t decide, let’s do this: you pray and when we go to get married, we’ll get to the crossroads where the roads diverge to the villages where the girls live, that’s where the horse turns — that’s where your fate will be. there will be.
The young man listened to the advice. The next day they went to get married. They reached a crossroads and the horse turned towards the village where the rich girl lives. They got engaged, and after a while they got married.
The newlyweds live, but there is no peace, no love, no prosperity…
And then, years later, two friends met. The one who was his mentor began to lament:
— Why did I advise you to do this? Apparently, all the blame for this will be on me. Or did the horse let us down like that?
And then the groom admitted:
— You know, the horse has nothing to do with it. It’s my fault.
— Yours?
— Yes… You see, when the horse had to turn at the crossroads, I took it and pulled the reins…
— Ahh… That’s what it’s all about… Well, if you pulled, then keep pulling…
We often make choices in life and we have no one to blame. Remember, what you have chosen for yourself in life is what you will carry on all your life…
He who trusts in the Lord with all his heart will never be disappointed!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
