Good afternoon! I want to tell you about the miracle that happened when we were in Diveevo. Let me start with the fact that I was in Diveevo 20 years ago, when I was 12-13 years old. A lot of time has passed since then and I really wanted to come this autumn. My husband was wondering whether to go or not. I told him that I really needed to go to Father Seraphim, in which case I was going without him. And he came with me. We arrived at night, went in the morning to read the akathist to the Monk and to the service. We’re very lucky to have added to the relics in open cancer. It is said to be opened on important occasions. That evening we had to leave. We went to the church to say goodbye, joined the relics and icons and waited for the priest to take the blessing on the road. There were few people in the temple. The priest, talking to a woman, came to bless us, with such warmth of heart added: “How dangerous are you on the road for the night?”
When my husband comes home, he tells me the following. It turns out that when we were waiting for the blessing from the priest on the road, the husband saw a bent old man in boots, in a fur coat, one hand hidden, and with the other hand he was baptized. The old man clung to all the icons from right to left, stood next to the priest, said something to his back, walked past us and left. He was wearing a hat with long ears, and his eyes were blue, transparent.
The husband says, «Didn’t you see?» I said, «No, of course I would have noticed him!» He did not believe me, it was impossible not to pay attention to the old man, he was very different from all those present and was dressed unusually.
I begged Father Seraphim in the church to teach my husband and help him strengthen his faith! My husband got nervous the day before the trip, and I cried in church with sorrow that we had come from afar, and he was hurting. And this cap of the monk with long ears is kept in the Trinity Cathedral. Her husband remembered seeing her there. And stunned! God is truly wonderful in His saints. Father, dear Seraphim, pray to God for us sinners!!!
