As a child, he was baptized, but not churched, his grandmother only drove to Communion a couple of times, gave water to the saint to drink. And then one day, as a child, a thought came to me that I accepted, «God is good, and he will save me.» I will live my life as I wish”. When he entered the Moscow Institute, he lived in the capital for his pleasure. He rotted his heart, mind and body with many sins, which he did not consider for sins, because he did not know the Orthodox faith. Like garbage in the wind rushed for minute pleasures and caused a lot of evil and suffering to themselves and loved ones.
And now came to the point that there was despair, despondency, there was no strength to live, although outwardly everything was well — cheerful friends, work, various hobbies, creativity. Even thoughts of suicide began to come.
I remembered that my grandmother very much revered Blessed Matrona, and went to her relics in the Holy Intercession Monastery. I prayed in line and when I applied myself to the relics to help me.
And the strength appeared, and the meaning of life – began to live according to the Orthodox faith, my mother brought a cross – a gift from my grandmother. After work, I once went to the church for an evening service — I felt eternity there. He began to read morning and evening prayers, several times went to the monastery for obedience.
Now I work in the church, I read in the choir. There are many difficulties and temptations, but with God’s help everything is overcome. And most importantly, there is the meaning of life: communion with God, knowledge and deification. I learned the Orthodox faith, looked at myself in a new way, met many bright people.
