In one village, a believing woman’s only son died, and she complained to God:
— Because of my love for You, I endured a lot of ridicule, mockery and need. There was no one here who was a believer except me. You took my son away from me — why did you take him?
That same evening this woman saw a phenomenon: the angels took her to the Lord and presented her complaint. The voice of the Lord was heard and asked the woman what she was asking for.
— RETURN MY SON, — the woman answered.
— Do you want to see your son? — asked the Lord.
— I am a mother, and I want to see! — the woman burst into tears.
— SHOW HER SON, — the Lord ordered. They brought her son out, and the mother rejoiced.
— Now what are you asking for? — asked the Lord.
— Why did you take it? — the woman reproached.
The Lord ordered the angels:
— Show this woman WHAT HER SON WOULD DO IF I DIDN’T TAKE HIM.
Instantly, as if on a screen, the woman saw the TERRIBLE SINS COMMITTED BY HER SON, AND HER SON WAS IN THE FLAMES OF HELL.
— Return to the Kingdom of Heaven! — then the mother burst into tears. The Lord ordered, and they returned her son to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Then the Lord said:
— For your kindness and love I took your son, he is next to Me. Do you really think THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHO SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN?
When a person dies, tell me what the trap of evil is here? A person’s life is in God’s hands.”…
