It will be difficult — ask St. Nicholas

This happened in the 80s, when young people rarely went to church, more often only old women stood at the service. But my grandmother told me an amazing incident involving a young girl who after him began diligently going to church. One day, this girl, returning from work, missed the last bus and had to get into a passing car in which two men were traveling, who promised that they would take her safe and sound. However, on the way they suddenly turned aside, and in response to her questions and tears they only laughed.

Then the poor girl remembered her mother’s words: “It will be difficult — ask St. Nicholas, he will always help” and prayed to the saint for help. Suddenly the car braked sharply, and the driver, cursing, got out into the street, because in the middle of the road, an old man was standing with his arms outstretched. However, no matter how much both offenders fought, they could not move the old man from his place, and the girl slowly got out of the car and hid in the forest belt. After this incident, she came to the temple.
