The Coming of the Relics of St. Luke of Crimea to the Sretensky Monastery

In December of this year, a special event will be held within the walls of the Sretensky Monastery: a particle of the relics of the great saint of our time – St. Luke, Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea – will be delivered here. This ritual is held under the personal blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The presence of the relics will last from 9 to 20 December inclusive, which provides a unique opportunity for believers to touch the relics of the greatest priest, whose medical skill has made him a symbol of kindness and compassion. His whole life was devoted to caring for people, not only as a doctor, but also as a pastor preaching the word of God.

The name of St. Luke is closely connected with the development of medical science and practice, especially in military surgery. Even in the most difficult periods of history, subject to political persecution and persecution, he continued to save lives and help those in need.

Every day, believers will be able to visit the shrines and pray to St. Luke, ask for the health of loved ones, strengthening health and support in difficult life circumstances. The prayer schedule is as follows:

On working days, services are held at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.
On Saturday and Sunday prayers are held at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.

Visit times are also conveniently organized: visitors can come at any convenient time from 8am to 20pm.

Thus, the Sretensky Monastery invites everyone to take part in this significant event, joining the miraculous power of the great Orthodox shrine. \
