Apostle Andronicus and Saint Junia

Unfortunately, there is very little information about these saints. Andronicus was one of the 70 apostles. Paul mentions them in the letter to the Romans and says they are related. The two became Christians before he met Jesus on his way to Damascus.

Andronicus and his assistant were evangelized in many countries. They destroyed temples, built temples, and preached the Word of God to the Gentiles with such passion that they accepted Christ by the hundreds.

The Apostle Andronicus was a bishop in the Pannonian region, enlightened many, served both in word and deed.

In the 7th century, the relics of 17 martyrs for the faith were opened near the Eugene Gate of Constantinople. A cleric named Nicholas had a vision from which he learned that among these relics are those belonging to Andronicus and Junia.
