The Holy Source of the Tikhvin Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos (Usyskino) is an Orthodox place geographically connected with the Usyskino location. This revered spring of the Tikhvin Icon of the Blessed Virgin is located near the village of Usyskino, Insar district of Mordovia. “Tikhvin” spring, as it is called here, is located on the eastern outskirts of the village.
On the feast in the name of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Usyskino, many Orthodox flock, a procession is held from the church (now inactive) to the holy spring. Conditions of access to natural objects change in season, so it is better to specify the route the day before.
