In the pilgrimage routes associated with the area “Shiryaevo”, the Holy Source of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God (Shiryaevo) is mentioned. The spring knocks out on the right bank of a small stream, the left tributary of the Lutosnya River, on the southern outskirts of the village Shiryaevo, on the western side of the Klin-Dmitrov highway, which is part of the MBK (A-108), in the parish of the church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God of Voronino village. Address: Moscow region, Klinsky district, village Shiryaevo Proezd: From Klin or Dmitrov on the A-108 highway, the chapel is located near the road, between the settlements of Opalevo and Shiryaevo.
In 2004, a wooden chapel was built at the source. Pilgrims are advised to check in advance the possibility of travel and access to water on the selected date.
