Tayanda — The Holy Source of the «Bethlehem» Icon of the Mother of God

The holy source of the “Bethlehem” icon of the Mother of God (Tayanda) is an Orthodox place geographically connected with the location of the “Tayanda”. The spring consecrated in honor of the “Bethlehem” icon of the Mother of God is located on the left bank of the Kozlovka River, in the tract “Chulkov Log”, 1.5 km north-east of the village of Tayanda in the Etkul district of the Chelyabinsk region. The chapel contains copies of icons from temples in the Holy Land in Jerusalem.

Next to the holy source, the family of the Orthodox Greeks Baratov, a chapel was erected consecrated in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Bethlehem”. Conditions of access to natural objects change in season, so it is better to specify the route the day before.
