The source of the Twelve Apostles is located in the mountains near the village of Solohaul in the urban district of Sochi. It is also called “Weeping Rocks”: the water comes out in many thin jets and flows down the stone surface.
The shrine is located about two kilometers from the monastery of the Cross Desert. The path passes through mountainous terrain, so it is better to plan the trip in stable weather. Non-slip shoes and time on foot are especially important after rain.

How to Get There
Get from Sochi or Dagomys to the village of Solokhaul and the monastery of the Cross Desert. From the monastery area to the source there is a walking route with a length of about 2 km. Use the 43.806056, 39.688833 point for navigation; check the status of the trail before exiting.
