In the pilgrimage routes associated with the area of Matrenino, the Holy Source of St. Seraphim of Sarov (Matrenino) is mentioned. A glandular spring knocks out on the left bank of a stream, the right tributary of the Lama River, on the western outskirts of the village of Matryonino. Consecrated by the rector of St. Nicholas Church, located 200 m east of the spring.

The territory of the source is beautifully landscaped. At 6 m down the slope knocks out a second, equally glandular spring with a smaller flow rate. Pilgrims are advised to check in advance the possibility of travel and access to water on the selected date.
