Vazheozersky spring is located in the village of Interposelok of Olonets district of Karelia and is associated with the nearby Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery. In the 1990s, the spring was restored, a small chapel was erected nearby and a font was arranged.
Pilgrims of the monastery come to the spring: here they collect water and make ablution. The territory is surrounded by the Karelian forest, so closed shoes and insect repellents are useful for the trip. The possibility of visiting the font and the state of the entrance is desirable to specify in advance.

How to Get There
By car from St. Petersburg to move along the highway "Kola" in the direction of Petrozavodsk; after Lumbozer turn on the sign to the Vazheozersky monastery. From Petrozavodsk to the turn about 100 km, then about 12 km to Interposelk. By bus you can reach the turn to Interposelok, the remaining area to overcome by local transport or taxi.
