One of the objects of pilgrimage interest in the location of the “Kotysh” is the Holy Source of the icon of the Mother of God “Passionary” (Kotsy). The holy source of the Most Holy Theotokos even before the revolution had a chapel in which revered shrines were kept: the Life-giving Cross and the Passionate Icon of the Mother of God. After the revolution, the chapel was broken, the Cross was lost, the Passionate Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary is now in the temple of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God of the village of Mavrino.
Now the Venerable Source is landscaped, the concrete well is level with the ground with a wooden lid, the runoff is weak. Current conditions of visit and improvement of the territory should be specified immediately before departure.

The reference point is Kostya. Travel from Moscow: Kostyshy village is about 12 km east of Krasnoarmeisk station, from Moscow from Shchelkovskaya metro station by bus No. 335 or from Shchelkovo station by bus No. 35 to the end, then by bus No. 29.
