The holy source of the saint and wonderworker Nicholas (Fomishchevo) is among the Orthodox places marked for the location “Fomishchevo”. The initiative to restore the temple and spring came from the villagers: in 2007, a gathering of citizens decided to petition for the restoration of the shrines. The spring in the name of St. Nicholas is located near the restored stone church in the village of Fomishchevo, Alexinsky district.
Near the temple restored a small lake filled with clean water from the springs. Before the trip, it is useful to clarify the state of the access road and the current access mode.
