The name “Holy source of the Holy Trinity (village of Shigon)” refers to an Orthodox object in the area of “village of Shigon”. The value of their spring, or rather, the springs — before their number was 12 — is evidenced by the fact that in 1830 a stone chapel in the name of the Holy Trinity was erected at the source on the donations of peasants. When priest Nikolai Kibalyuk was appointed to the local parish in 1990, the village addressed him with two requests: “To restore the temple in the name of the Archangel of God Michael and to improve the holy spring in the name of the Holy Trinity.”
In 1934, the chapel was destroyed. For the trip, pre-preserved coordinates and updated information about the local road will be useful.
