The name «Holy Source «Holy» (Waste)» refers to an Orthodox object in the area «Waste». This revered spring «Saint» is located 500 m north-west of the village of Pustosha, Shatur city district of the Moscow region on the gentle slope of an extensive marsh basin. The key is in the log of the well, from which a weak trickle drains into the surrounding swamp.

Landmark is Wasteland. Travel from Moscow: by train from Kazansky railway station to the station. Cherusty, then by bus No. 34 (and when entering the Wasteland - No. 35) to the Wasteland stop, from the temple to go along Parkovaya Street.
