In the pilgrimage routes associated with the area “Zaruchye”, the Holy Source of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos (Zaruchye) is mentioned. Over one in the past there was a chopped font of wood, and over the other in the early twentieth century put a wooden temple. From Ivan Creek, the Virgin Mary passed the Gayanshchi road, where over time the residents built a well log cabin at the place of her rest.
This place was decorated with a chapel that has not survived. Pilgrims are advised to check in advance the possibility of travel and access to water on the selected date.

How to Get There
The reference point is Zaruchye. From St. Petersburg, 33 km along the R-38 highway, then from Staropol to Menusha 2.4 km, and then turn left, on a primer to Zaruchya. Soon there will be the village of Mezhnik (to her from Menusha 3.6 km), then, after another 1.2 km - Russo, and immediately after her Luzhitsa. For Luzhitsa, the Dolozhsk cult cave awaits us.
