One of the objects of pilgrimage interest in the «Semiozerka» location is the Chapel of the Icon of the Mother of God «Joy of All Who Sorrow» (at a near source) (Semiozerka). Despite the destruction of the temple in the middle of the XX century, this revered spring remained and continues to attract pilgrims. The Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” was built in 1884 by Archimandrite Vissarion (Svetovidov) on the site of an old chapel that existed since the 1830s, near the holy spring.
Today, despite the loss of the temple, the Venerable Source in this place continues to benefit believers. Current conditions of visit and improvement of the territory should be specified immediately before departure.
