One of the objects of pilgrimage interest in the location «Mendeleevsk» is the Chapel of Water (Mendeleevsk). The water-holy chapel arose as a continuation of the ancient tradition of consecration of water on the day of the Epiphany and other holidays. A small wooden chapel with a bath, built in 2005-2010 near the banks of the Kama River.
At the beginning of the XXI century, with the blessing of the ruling bishop and with the active participation of parishioners of the Epiphany parish, the improvement of the source and the construction of a wooden chapel with a bath began here. Current conditions of visit and improvement of the territory should be specified immediately before departure.
