The holy source of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God (Khimki) is an Orthodox place geographically connected with the location of Khimki. This revered spring with a reconstructed retaining wall and an overlay chapel. A new fencing was installed on the territory, steps were replaced, a polycarbonate roof was mounted over the descent to the spring, a platform for water collection was landscaped, a retaining wall and an overlay chapel were reconstructed, cozy benches and lanterns were installed, new storm drains were arranged.
The consecration of the spring was made by Father Igor, the assistant of the decorated Khimki district for religious education and catechization. Conditions of access to natural objects change in season, so it is better to specify the route the day before.
