The name «Source of St. Seraphim (Gypsy)» refers to an Orthodox object in the area «Gypsy». On the right bank, a log chapel was erected in honor of St. Seraphim of Sarov. Now the source is well-maintained: a highway was held to it, the bed of the Satis River was taken aside, and a lake was arranged at the exit site of the spring.

Equipped Venerable source with a closed font full immersion. For the trip, pre-preserved coordinates and updated information about the local road will be useful.

How to Get There

The reference point is Gypsy. Due to the large number of transfers by bus, a pilgrimage train by motor vehicle or pilgrimage bus from Diveevo is recommended: a bus runs on schedule from the Pilgrimage Center of the monastery, the fare is purely symbolic. The driver will wait for everyone to dip in, collect water and return with a group to the monastery. There is a large free parking for cars and buses. You can choose the time when the Holy Source will be the least number of people. I recommend going either early in the morning or late in the evening. For navigation, use the coordinates 54.913969, 43.268177.
