The holy source of the icon of the Virgin «Indrinkable Chalice» (Bogdanovka) is among the Orthodox places marked for the location «Bogdanovka». In the days of the God-fighting of the Soviet power, the widespread closure of churches and the ban on visiting holy places, over time, the source was forgotten, and later even by order of the authorities desecrated. Then the source was attributed to the Pokrovsky temple of the Yurievets township, near the village of Dubna of the former Kolomna district.
Before the icon “Inexhaustible Chalice” on the day of its celebration on May 18, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, a procession is made in the church under the bell ringing to the spring, where a water-holy prayer service is served.
